This Edinburgh Halloween is sure to be one of the most entertaining ones yet! Modernised from the ancient Celtic festival, Samhuinn, which marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter, Halloween is such an enjoyable time of the year for both friends and family to enjoy.
What makes it even better is that Edinburgh is known to be one of the spookiest cities in the UK. So, events and organised fun is available in abundance this month.
Stuck for choice? Well, read on and find out what our top suggestions to do in Edinburgh this Halloween are:
We couldn’t start our Edinburgh Halloween list off without mentioning the only place where it is pretty much Halloween 365 days of the year, could we?
The Edinburgh Dungeons are a must-visit place in Edinburgh if you are looking for that little bit of gruesome horror mixed in with some historical education.
The fully immersive experience includes a witch hunt, meeting Maggie Dickson and, of course, the well-known duo of Burke and Hare.
