Welcome to the sixth instalment of the VMH ”Get to Know the Team” series. Today we are getting to know Philip that little bit better…

I work as the Sales Negotiator at VMH Estate Agents and Solicitors.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED AT VMH SOLICITORS?
I’ve worked here since August 2016.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE LINE FROM A MOVIE?
“And if I don’t see you, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight”
– Truman Show
BEST HOLIDAY YOU’VE BEEN TO?
Diving off the Gold Coast in Australia
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
When the clients tell me that the whole process was stress free and even enjoyable. A huge compliment to the team here as moving house rarely is.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO ON YOUR DAYS OFF?
Long walks with the 2 Jack Russell’s and cycling (weather dependant!)
WHAT IS THE FIRST CONCERT YOU ATTENDED?
REM. Was so long ago that Oasis was the support act before anyone had heard of them.
WHAT IS THE WEIRDEST JOB YOU’VE EVER HAD?
I grew up on a farm and there were plenty of strange jobs. Having to walk up and down freshly ploughed fields picking up stones was the weirdest and most tiring!
WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO EAT?
Has to be the Chinese Manorhouse in Corstorphine. Have had more than a decade of birthday meals in there and being right next to my home is a huge bonus.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO IN THE WONDERFUL CITY OF EDINBURGH?
It has to be The Fringe. Every year is 100% different and there is a mind boggling choice of things to see. And all on our doorstep!
