The selling process
The most important part of any sale is the valuation. Drawing on all of our experience and resources, we'll provide you with an accurate valuation of your property and advice on an appropriate asking price.

We'll agree an appropriate marketing strategy with you, offering a range of options tailored to achieve your sale

objectives. At the very least, our marketing of your property will include the siting of a For Sale board, the preparation of quality colour sales brochures and the display of your property in our own offices and property shops.

We would also recommend placing your property with the Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre, giving you access to their George Street showroom, the ESPC Homepages weekly newspaper and their excellent website. We have also negotiated very favourable terms for press advertising for the benefit of our clients.

Once your property is on the market, we'll continue to deal with the sale in a proactive manner, keeping you up to date with all developments, such as notes of interest and surveys. By monitoring the levels of interest, we can give ongoing advice, such as the fixing of a closing date. Throughout the selling process, our sales and legal teams work hand-in-hand to ensure that any potential legal difficulties, such as unauthorised alterations or boundary disputes, are dealt with at the earliest possible opportunity.
